Madras Curry
Bring the taste of South India to your kitchen with our aromatic Madras 'mild' heat curry blend. This robust blend comibes the earthy flavour of freshly ground cumin seeds with the sweetness of cassia and the warmth of ginger. Mustard seeds, cloves and cardamom impart an, at once, both sharp and refreshing tone to this intense and vibrant mix.
Suitable for vegetarian chicken or lamb dishes, or as a marinade, The Kitchen Herbarry's hot heat blend contains about 15% Chilli powder with a rating of between 30,000 and 40,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) and about 4% black pepper whilst our mild heat blend contains about 9% Cayenne Pepper with a rating of between 11,000 and 16,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) and about 2% black pepper.
The Kitchen Herbarry's zero heat blend contains no chilli powder or pepper and allows you to experience the rich and deep flavours without any of the burn ... or you can add the amount of chilli and pepper to suit you.
