Our Aims

Our Aims are:
To bring the varied and vibrant flavours of the world to kitchens around the UK from the most modest to the most grand. Whether you are an accomplished chef, an enthusiastic amateur or only cook occasionally we want to ensure that the ingredients you need are always on hand, of the highest quality and in the best condition.

To minimise waste by selling all our products in long life recyclable pouches specifically chosen to be the best packaging for dried herbs and spices.

To reduce the impact on the environment by using recyclable pouches so you don't have to buy a glass jar with a plastic lid for every 3 or 4 recipes you cook. Either refill existing spice jars - for which we supply new labels if you want - or use straight from the pouch.

To save you money by giving you the confidence to buy in larger quantites knowing that your product will stay in top condition for years.

About the company

The Kitchen Herbarry is based in Godalming, Surrey and was established in 2021 by Richard Barry. As a passionate amateur cook he had been making herb and spice blends for friends and family for years in response to always being asked: "Can I have the recipe?" ... the key is usually the spice blend.

With these blends being so popular and out of frustration with the way herbs and spices are sold in supermarkets we decided to start The Kitchen Herbarry where products are sold in appropriate packaging and mixes are ground, blended and packed by hand and - to guarantee the best quality and flavour - according to demand.

At first selling at local markets and supplying local businesses the Kitchen Herbarry quickly grew and now sells directly to homes and business all across the United Kingdom.
