Italian Herbs

Bring the taste of Tuscany to your kitchen with our boldly flavoured blend of Italian herbs. The minty and peppery tones of basil, the slightly floral tones of thyme and the sweetness of oregano and marjoram are complimented by a touch of sharpness from sage and rosemary and the lingering hotness of garlic to create a perfectly balanced blend with a wide versatility.

This blend works especially well with tomato based sauces and traditional Italian recipes such as Bolognese, pasta dishes and pizza. One of our favourite uses at The Kitchen Herbarry for this blend is for home made salad croutons. Mix a couple of teaspoons of Italian Herbs with a generous glug of olive oil and cubed bread in a bowl and then simply pop them in the oven at about 140C until they are a hardness of your liking.
